Christianity and the Bible (Top)

Carbon Canyon Church and School
The church body that I attend. A friend of mine maintains the Youth Group page. If you are in the area of L.A. or Orange Country, specifically Brea, think about coming by for a visit. If not, there are excellent audio, video, and text messages available on site from our pastor and various other speakers.
Plus, check out the horse program!

Bible Gateway
An excellent site for finding and comparing passages in any English translation, and quite a few other languages as well. When the OGNSB gets started again, I'll be using this a lot.

Christian Classics Ethereal Library
They have online copies of many (if not all) the writings of the church fathers, in English, as well as e-books by many other Christian authors throughout the ages. See also the Internet Classics Archive below.

Relevant Magazine

Songs of Praise
This site has midi files and music scores for many worship and praise songs. Some songs also have other formats, and there are translations to other languages (Inima Mea, anyone?)

The Center for Scientific Creation
Here can be found an interesting alternative to the Plate Tectonics Theory, involving the massive forces unleashed in the Cataclysm (i.e. the Deluge).

Literature (Top)

The American Chesterton Society
Chesterton ranks up with Tolkien and Lewis as one of my three favourite authors. This is the largest society dedicated to him that I know of.

The Internet Classics Archive

Christian Fandom
"an interdenominational fellowship of fans interested in the courteous and accurate representation of Christian viewpoints in the science fiction and fantasy community."

Deep Magic - The E-zine of High Fantasy and Science Fiction

Regia Anglorum
An Anglo-Saxon Reenactment Society in England. Has good historical info on the Early Middle Ages.

  The Grandiloquent Dictionary
These sites both have collections of rare and unusual words. The Phrontistery has numerous wordlists, including a list of over fifty grammatical cases (Hallelujah!) There is also a list of rare three-letter words, of particular interest to Stola Society Members...

Celtic Studies Resources
This site has a list of Celt-related sites on the internet, as well as lists of reading material and a list of FAQs.

Jonathan's Corner
A good site, containing a large number of interesting articles (in the writings section) written from the author's perspective as a 'slightly' intelligent Christian mystic. I recommend "The Way of the Way" and Firestorm 2034, the latter is quite long (a full novel).
